Wiley Taking A 'Pop Sabbatical' And Returning To Original Grime Style

Wiley is reportedly taking a ‘pop sabbatical’, having dropped seven new songs on Soundcloud earlier this week.
The rapper is apparently going to put work on another major label studio album on hold while he goes back to his roots. Earlier this week, new material surfaced on his Soundcloud page and may hint at his latest move.
According to Digital Spy, a Warner representative has said:
“He's having a pop sabbatical, but will be back soon.”
While some fans may be unhappy at the news, a lot of his older fans will be rejoicing at the prospect of more grime and garage from Wiley. His last album, 'The Ascent', spawned four top 10 singles and landed at No.26 on the UK charts.
