Chris Brown Could Quit Music After Release Of Album 'X'

Wednesday, 07 August 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Chris Brown has revealed that he may quit music after the release of his forthcoming new album, 'X', although he has since deleted Twitter messages claiming the record would be his last.

The 24-year-old’s sixth studio album is set to hit shelves on August 19 and it features a number of high-profile collaborations, with Nicki Minaj, Diplo, Kendrick Lamar, and his former flame Rihanna.

Taking to Twitter, Brown declared that it would ‘probably be my last’.

“Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album. Being famous is amazing when it's for ur music and talent. I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I'm cool & over it!”

Brown has since deleted the tweets, meaning that he may have already gone back on the idea. Either way, his fans can breathe a sigh of relief, while his haters will have to keep on hatin’. What do you think of the tweet? A cry for help? A promo stunt?
