Eminem Confirms New Album 'MMLP2' Coming in November

Monday, 26 August 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

American superstar Eminem has announced brand new album 'MMLP2' - aka the follow-up to his seminal, super-selling and now-iconic 2000 record 'The Marshall Mathers LP'.

Out on November 5, it’s the latest and eighth studio album from the rapper, considered to be one of the best of all time, and was unveiled via a video trailer at the MTV VMAs (Video Music Awards) last night. The video now appears on Eminem’s website - but you can check it out at the bottom of this article, too.

The video tells fans that his executive producers on the records are long-time friend and collaborator Dr Dre, and the renowned Rick Rubin, while it follows recent track ‘Survival’ (which features on the new Call of Duty game ‘Ghosts) - and precedes up and coming single ‘Beserk’, which reportedly drops tomorrow.

The original Mathers LP is the 40 year-old’s best-selling record, and has been ranked as 6x platinum here in the UK - and an enviable diamond certification in the US. It birthed his supermassive single ‘Stan’, which featured Dido - Eminem performed the track alongside the singer at Reading and Leeds Festival over the weekend. We wonder whether she’ll make another appearance on his new record!

Are you looking forward to the album? Leave us a comment in the box below - you’ll find it underneath the teaser vid!
