Lung Lines Up Debut Album 'Wait Less Suspense'

Monday, 26 August 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Cardiff-born drum and bass and dubstep producer Lung has finished his debut album ‘Wait Less Suspense’.

Set for release on September 16 via Med School - the sister label of the mighty Hospital Records - it’s the first proper collection from Lung, and the countless fans he’s picked up in the past couple of years are now licking their ears lips in anticipation.

Over the 14 tracks, the Welshman weaves effortlessly from his familiar trades of drum and bass and dubstep to sweet garage and house vibes, proving he’s got serious skill across the board - each track has that emotive and addictive quality that Lung is so good at creating.

It also sees collaborations with some of dance music’s most talented songwriters and singers, including Phaeleh, Sunchase, and even Rachel K Collier - who hit the charts at #12 recently - while Russian starlet Tiiu also features.

It’s the first in what will surely be a long line of LPs he puts out on the experimental label, and its tunes are already being pumped out at Hospitality and Med School nights across the nation. Funnily enough, you’ll be able to catch him performing alongside Etherwood, Joe Syntax, Barefoot, and more at Plan B in London this October (click here for tickets), or at Hospitality Brixton in September (click here for tickets).

For now, you can check out his Phaeleh and Rachel K Collier collab below, while more previews and the chance to pre-order the record can be found here - if you like it, make sure you support the artist and grab it!
