Michael Monroe's 'Horns And Halos' Debuts At Number 1 In Finland And Turns Gold In Four Days

Michael Monroe’s new album, ‘Horns And Halos’, has gone straight to the top of the Finnish charts, earning a Gold award after just four days of sales.

“I'm very happy with how our new album has been received,” he said. “The reviews have been great, and going straight to #1 in the national charts, and selling gold in such a short period, is quite something. Not bad, eh?!”

Featuring the singles Ballad Of The Lower East Side and Eighteen Angels, ‘Horns And Halos’ is the follow-up to 2011’s ‘Sensory Overdrive’ release, and is MM’s second studio album for the Spinefarm label. Check out Stereoboard’s four star review of the album here.

Michael Monroe has revealed plans for an extensive world tour, including eight dates in the UK which also includes an appearance at this years Hard Rock Hell.

Monroe’s current touring and recording outfit consists of bassist Sami Yaffa (ex-Hanoi Rocks/ New York Dolls), guitarist Steve Conte (ex-New York Dolls/Company Of Wolves), drummer Karl ’Rockfist’ Rosqvist (ex-Chelsea Smiles/Danzig) and Dregen.
