The Wanted Announce New Single - But Album Release Pushed Back

Monday, 09 September 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

English-Irish pop outfit The Wanted have announced details of their brand new single - but have unfortunately had to push their album release date back.

Titled ‘Show Me Love (America)’, it’s the latest single from the group’s up and coming third album World of Mouth, and is set for its first play on Capital FM tomorrow morning. It’ll see a release on October 10, but unfortunately, you’ll have to wait until November 4 for the full LP to hit shelves.

Despite the blow, the band are looking forward to the public - and of course their fans - hearing the track for the first time, and singer Nathan Sykes has opened up about how it came together.

“Show Me Love (America)' is the song that we have chosen to lead into our upcoming album 'Word Of Mouth'. It started with me writing a simple piano ballad and has ended up incorporating a 14 piece string orchestra! We are so excited for people to hear this song as we feel it really shows a completely new side to The Wanted.”

The Wanted hit the road on tour of the US in October ahead of the release of their new collection, so UK fans will have to sit in wait of some possible tour dates this side of the pond. But for now, you can check out this video of their single announcement to keep your Wanted addiction satisfied!
