Calvin Harris, the highest paid DJ of 2013, has unveiled his brand new remix of the Killers’ When You Were Young.
The Scottish chart-topper has, as expected, injected his explosive dance music formula into the Top 10 2006 single, having been enlisted by the American rockers to produce a remix for their upcoming collection ‘Direct Hits’.
Harris has uploaded a two-and-a-half minute preview to his SoundCloud page, and it’s received almost 200,000 listens in just one day, receiving positive reviews and comments across the board. One user wrote: "I've always loved this song and Calvin Harris made this amazing remix."
Meanwhile, the high-earner hits the road on a tour of the UK later this year, alongside fellow big-bucks DJ and producer Tiesto. The 'Greater Than' tour will hit Belfast's Odyssey Arena on December 18, the O2 Arena in Dublin on December 19, Earls Court in London on December 20 and Manchester's Phones 4U Arena on December 21, with the tour winding down with two shows at Glasgow's Hydro Arena on December 22 and 23.
