Gothic-doom metallers Paradise Lost are premiering their newly recorded track, Our Saviour 2013, taken from their upcoming album, 'Tragic Illusion 25 (The Rarities)', due out on October 21 in Europe and digitally on November 5 in North America.
All tracks found on the compilation are previously released rarities — except the new track Loneliness Remains, and newly recorded Gothic 2013 and Our Saviour 2013. Paradise Lost's Greg Mackintosh comments: "'Our Saviour’ was one of our present drummer’s favourite songs when he was a teenager, so when we were deciding on a really early track to re-record, this was high up on the list. This version is not meant to be better or even comparable to the original, which was of a certain time when perfection was not the order of the day. It was a time when music had charm and innocence. This new version is simply an affectionate look back on that time, and hopefully we did it justice.”

Paradise Lost is also pleased to confirm that their 25th anniversary 'Tragic Illusion' tour has been extended to now include a number of European dates. As with the UK shows, the band will be supported by both Lacuna Coil and Katatonia.
