Take That star Gary Barlow will take time out from the X Factor next year in order to tour his new solo record, ‘Since I Saw You Last’, and he’s off to a flyer. Topping this week’s Stereoboard Hot Ticket Chart, Barlow has shunted Justin Timberlake into second spot after extra dates for the American superstar’s ‘20/20 Experience’ tour went on sale.
In third and fourth are Disney On Ice and extreme sports extravaganza Nitro Circus Live, while X Factor winner James Arthur has bagged a spot in the top five, ahead of Arctic Monkeys and another reality TV confection, Strictly Come Dancing.
US soul star Bruno Mars is at number eight and currently wowing arenas across the UK, with One Direction and Jay Z rounding out this week’s top 10. Jessie J is up two places at 11, with her tour getting underway on October 18, with sales for Taylor Swift’s O2 residency putting her at number 12.
Michael Buble is going strong at 13, with chart regulars Micky Flanagan and Bastille just behind him. Jake Bugg is up a couple of places prior to a run of shows at Brixton Academy, with US rockers Black Stone Cherry going well at number 17 after confirming an intimate string of ‘Southern Hospitality’ dates in 2014.
John Mayer has cracked the top 20 as he prepares to bring his smooth sound to the O2, while Chase and Status and Rudimental add a dose of beats in the final two spots.
