U2 have revealed a large section of their first new song in three years - check it out below.
The new song soundtracks a new trailer for the upcoming Nelson Mandela biopic, 'Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom', a story based on Mandela's 1994 autobiography. The track was specifically written for the film.
The Irish rockers look set to release a brand new album early next year, according to reports circulating the web. Bassist Adam Clayton recently revealed that the band are looking to complete the album by the end of November, confirming that the band are want to get songs "absolutely right" before Christmas.
"I think it’s a bit of a return to U2 of old, but with the maturity, if you like, of the U2 of the last 10 years. It’s a combination of those two things and it’s a really interesting hybrid," he told 98FM. "We’re in the studio. We’re trying to get these 12 songs absolutely right and get them finished by the end of November, and then we can kind of enjoy Christmas."
U2 last released an album in 2009, when they put out 'No Line On The Horizon'.
