David Bowie has unveiled the video for James Murphy's remix of his track Love Is Lost.
The video was premiered as part of the Mercury Prize ceremony at the Roundhouse in London on Wednesday night, where Bowie's album, 'The Next Day', lost out to James Blake's 'Overgrown'.
Put together for just $12.99, the video features puppets from the 'Bowie archive' and was filmed by the man himself with assistance from Jimmy King and his best friend, Coco Schwab. It's a “strangely moving gothic inflected storyline perfect for Halloween”.
Bowie is set to reissue 'The Next Day' on November 4. ‘The Next Day Extra’ will take up three discs and will feature new cuts Like A Rocket Man, Born In A UFO, The Informer and Atomica.
