British electro-pop outfit Metronomy will released their next single via The Night Sky app, it has been revealed.
The popular Londoners return next week with I’m Aquarius, their first new single in around a year and a half. Teasing fans with a preview of the song on their official website, the band have revealed that they'll be releasing it in full via The Night Sky, a smartphone app.
The app itself is pretty savvy - it allows users to check out constellations, stars, planets, and an array of other cool stuff just by pointing your phone to the sky - and in what’s an innovative new idea, the band will let users who scan the Aquarius constellation hear the tune in full.
The news of new music is good for fans, who haven’t heard much from the band since the summer of last year, following their successful 2011 record ‘The English Riviera’. With hope, the guys are working on what will be their fourth collection - stick with us for future updates!
