Tierra Blanca Set For Debut London Headline Show

Recently formed British outfit Tierra Blanca will be turning up the heat at the legendary Borderline in Soho on November 17 with a debut gig to be remembered. Or not. That depends on your tequila tolerance level really.

Tierra Blanca are already the talk of the town: described by BBC Radio 2’s Huey Morgan as ‘a London band with Texas attitude’, they pack an exotic punch with their ‘western rock’n’stroll’. 

Tierra Blanca’s debut album 'Shadowlands' has been tipped as ‘this year’s hidden treasure’ - a treasure lucky Londoners can discover live on November 17.  Leading ‘la banda’ is singer songwriter John McKeown; his original work is the strength of 'Shadowlands', next to some surprising covers of Prince's When Doves Cry, David Essex's Rock On, Patti Smith's Dancing Barefoot and Neil Young’s Only Love Can Break Your Heart with added Hispanic spice.
