Magnum Announce April 2014 Escape From The Shadow Garden UK Tour

Influential British melodic rockers Magnum have confirmed the March 24 2014 release of their upcoming nineteenth studio album, ‘Escape From The Shadow Garden’. Following the release of the album, Magnum will hit the road for a huge tour across Europe, including a string of April UK shows.

Magnum formed in Birmingham in 1972. Their breakthrough album ‘On A Storyteller’s Night’ remains one of the best-loved rock records of the 80s and their era-defining ‘Wings Of Heaven’ went on to garner the hit singles ‘Days Of No Trust’ and ‘Start Talking Love’. Some 40 years into their career, Magnum are still helmed by original singer Bob Catley and Tony Clarkin, and they’re ‘Escape From The Shadow Garden’ will be available as a limited digipak edition with bonus material, as a double coloured vinyl LP, standard jewel case CD and download. 

‘Escape From The Shadow Garden’ follows the success of ‘On The Thirteenth Day’, which charted at #28 in Germany, #36 in Sweden, #43 in the UK national album charts, #57 in Switzerland, and at #3 in the UK rock charts and #5 in the UK Indie Charts at the beginning of October 2012.
