The Vamps Knock One Direction From Their Stereoboard Hot Ticket Chart Perch

Friday, 02 May 2014 Written by Stereoboard.com

The Vamps have won a small victory in their battle to dethrone One Direction as the UK’s boyband of choice, knocking their rivals from the top of Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart.

One Direction, who have stadium dates lined up next month, are down to second, while the Killers, Arctic Monkeys and Peter Gabriel, another new entry after confirming an arena tour for later this year, complete the top five.

Katy Perry has jumped from 14th to sixth, while McBusted and Paolo Nutini occupy spots seven and eight ahead of a new face in Passenger, and Lee Evans. Dolly Parton, Paloma Faith and Kid Ink are queuing up just outside the top 10, with the stars of WWE flexing their muscles at 14.

Kings of Leon are up next, with Disney on Ice and Bryan Adams above a re-entry in the form of this summer’s V Festival, the Seekers and Manchester’s Parklife Weekender, where Snoop Dogg, Foals, Kendrick Lamar, London Grammar, Disclosure, Rudimental and Bastille are lined up to perform.
