Blink 182 Secure Top Billing On Stereoboard's Hot Ticket Chart

Friday, 04 July 2014 Written by Stereoboard.com

Blink 182 have elbowed their way to the top of Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart after announcing a brace of Reading and Leeds warm up shows at the O2 Academy Brixton.

The pop-punk giants will headline the twin-site event alongside Arctic Monkeys, Paramore and Queens of the Stone Age in August, with Reading tickets also proving popular this week.

Separating the two are Monty Python, who are enjoying a fine farewell at London’s O2 Arena, while Ed Sheeran and T In The Park complete this week’s top five. Wireless - now sans Drake - is at six, with Eminem and Lovebox in hot pursuit.

Pre-sale tickets for the Who’s 50th anniversary tour have landed them a spot in the top 10, edging out two of this weekend’s big draws: Sonisphere and British Summer Time.

Robbie Williams, Robert Plant, Madness and Lee Evans are up next, with V Festival also adding a seasonal touch at 16. Completing this week’s rundown, meanwhile, are Pearl Jam, Jamie T - who this week announced his return - Jake Bugg and Kasabian, who are also pre-sale giants.
