Dancefloor Vibes/Monster Tunes: The Stereoboard Global Gathering Setlist

Wednesday, 23 July 2014 Written by Elliott Batte

This weekend, Global Gathering returns to Long Marston Airfield in Stratford Upon Avon, dragging in its wake some of the biggest names and brightest underground stars in the dance world.

Chase & Status, the Prodigy, David Guetta and Alesso have their names up in lights at the top of the bill and here are some of the sets that we think will shake your fillings loose (in a good way) come Friday. You can check out the full line up here.

The Prodigy - Main Stage, Saturday

Just a few weeks on from headlining Sonisphere - alongside Iron Maiden and Metallica - the Prodigy will demonstrate their unique crossover appeal by closing proceedings on Saturday night. The crowd at Knebworth was somewhat divided, what with metal being the order of the day, but here Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim should flex their muscles and show exactly why they’re still kings of the castle almost 25 years on.

Wilkinson - UKF Live, Saturday

You should certainly witness the fitness of Wilkinson, who’ll soon be unleashing the deluxe version of his debut LP ‘Lazers Not Included’. Wilkinson smashed his way into the Top 10 with Afterglow last year (no mean feat for any drum and bass producer) and will probably be spinning tracks on a much bigger stage next year - so catch him while you can.

David Rodigan - Ram Jam @ Global Freight Depot, Saturday

Next up on our must-see list is David Rodigan, who headlines his own shindig at Global Freight Depot alongside Toddla T, Dub Phizix and Artwork. The undisputed king of UK reggae and dub, he’ll be ripping through loads of bass-heavy tunes that will have you bopping in the sunshine.

Hospitality - Saturday

Last on the list is the Hospitality stage - that’s right, the whole stage. It’s far too difficult to pick just one from this year’s line-up, which is topped by superstar Welshman High Contrast and features label boss London Elektricity. With Camo & Krooked bringing the dancefloor vibes, SPY packing monster tunes, Etherwood and Logistics both recently knocking out eclectic new albums and guests including the legendary DJ Hype, Hospitality is unmissable for any dance music fan. That means you.

Global Gathering Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:
