The Missouri punks recorded the song at McCall Sound Studios in Sheffield with producer Ross Orton during sessions for their debut album, which is expected later this year. Discussing the track, Isaiah Radke said:
“It's about seeing someone move on without you. About how deep you can get involved with someone, and just how badly it can backfire.”
