Coasts will release their debut album in September.
The self-titled LP is due September 4 via Warner Music/ Tidal/ Good Soldier. Discussing the new record, guitarist Liam Willford said:
“Our album is about optimism, it sums up a huge journey we have been on as best friends. It’s about us learning to feel optimistic about life after losing our way, and about forgetting the noise that can distract you from following your dreams.”
Coasts have confirmed dates for a June UK tour in support of the new album. The rising Bristol indie-rock quintet will play shows in Sunderland, Hull, Liverpool, Aberystwyth, Cardiff, Ramsgate and Southend either side of a stop at London’s KOKO and the Isle of Wight Festival. They will also appear at T In The Park in July and Reading and Leeds in August.
