Glen Hansard Lines Up September Release For Sophomore Album 'Didn’t He Ramble'

Glen Hansard will release his sophomore album, 'Didn’t He Ramble', in September.
The Irish singer-songwriter's new record is due September 18 via Anti- Records. It will be his first new music in over three years and follows his 2012 solo debut, 'Rhythm & Repose'. Discussing the record, Hansard said:
“I feel I’ve really dug deep for these songs, and I’ve been chasing specific ideas asking myself ‘what is it I’m trying to say with this line or idea?’ One would hope that through all of this that you find your voice. And, amazingly, you might find it in the smallest gesture of a song.”

Glen Hasard has announced a London show as part of a run of intimate dates throughout Europe this autumn. The Swell Season and Frames singer-songwriter will wind up a European tour in support of his new record with a visit to the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on October 21.
