Def Leppard To Release New Self-Titled Studio Album In October

Def Leppard will release a new, self-titled, studio album in October.
The follow up to 2008's 'Songs From The Sparkle Lounge', which will be their 11th studio LP, is due October 30. Meanwhile, you can check out the lead single, Let's Go, via Rolling Stone.
Discussing the new record, vocalist Joe Elliot said:
"We got together to see what we had with maybe putting out a three track EP in mind. All of a sudden we had twelve songs on the go, and two more would come just a few weeks later. It's the first album we've ever made with no deal in place & no one looking over our shoulders so the freedom was immense & I think you can hear it in the songs."
DefLeppard and Whitesnake will hit the road together for a UK and Ireland arena tour this winter. The two legendary hard rock bands will be joined by Black Star Riders for shows in Dublin, Belfast, Newcastle, Glasgow, Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester, Cardiff, London and Sheffield between December 6 and 19.Tickets are on sale now.
