Les McKeown, Alan Longmuir and Stuart Wood have resurrected the legendary boyband, famed for hits including Bye Bye Baby and Shang-a-Lang, for a December 20 date at Glasgow’s Barrowland, with the prospect of further touring and new music also on the horizon.
“I’m feeling great, I’m feeling fabulous,” McKeown said at a press conference. “It’s been hard work on everyone’s part. Maybe I instigated it a couple of years ago when I mentioned on TV that I’d love to get back with the guys and that put a little seed in everyone’s head. Slowly but surely we started to gravitate towards each other again.”
Tickets for the band’s Glasgow show are on sale at 9am on September 25.
