Savages And Daughter Among Latest Acts Announced For BBC 6 Music Festival

Savages and Daughter are among the latest acts confirmed for this year's BBC 6 Music Festival.

Also joining the bill are Foals, Ezra Furman, Laura Marling, John Grant, Suede, Bloc Party, Buzzcocks, Roisin Murphy, Kurt Vile, Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls, the Pop Group, Everything Everything, Hooton Tennis Club, C Duncan, Polica, Bob Mould, This Is The Kit, Rozi Plain, Hinds, Yeasayer, Roots Manuva, Julia Holter, Field Music, the Invisible, the Moonlandingz, Beirut, Steve Mason, Misty in Roots, White Denim, Underworld, Rat Boy, Blossoms, !!!, Gwenno and Golden Rules. They will appear alongside the already announced Primal Scream, who are set to debut material from their new record, 'Chaosmosis'. Tricky, Roni Size, The Blue Aeroplanes, BEAK> and Pinch are also set to appear. The event, which has previously been staged on Tyneside and in Manchester, will head to Bristol, for its third year, between February 12 and 14, taking over the Colston Hall, Motion, the Trinity Centre, Basement 45 and the O2 Academy. Tickets will be available at 10am on January 25 from the BBC 6 Music website.
