The Monkees To Celebrate 50th Anniversary With New Album And North American Tour

The Monkees will celebrate their 50th anniversary with their first new album in 20 years and a North American tour in late spring.
Containing performances from surviving members MickyDolenz, Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork, 'Good Times', out on May 27, also features songwriting from Noel Gallagher, Weezer's Rivers Cuomo, Death Cab For Cutie's Ben Gibbard, XTC's Andy Partridge, Rogue Wave's Zach Schwartz, and Fountains of Wayne's Adam Schlesinger, who also produced it.
Alongside the new record, Dolenz and Tork will launch their 50th Anniversary tour across the United States and Canada beginning on May 18. Taking in nearly 50 shows, including a hometown performance on September 16 at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles, the duo wind up the run on October 29.
Tickets go on sale at 10am on February 12.
