Foy Vance Unveils New Track Ziggy Looked Me In The Eye And Announces 'Wild DeTour'

Monday, 15 February 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

Foy Vance has unveiled a new track, Ziggy Looked Me In The Eye.

Vance, who is the latest signing to Ed Sheeran’s Gingerbread Man Records, recorded the song at Blackbird Studios in Nashville late last year, where he also recorded his new album, details of which are due to be announced soon. Discussing the track, which you can check out below, he said:

“Ziggy is a reference to Ziggy Stardust, for sure. He was a one-man revolution that never played by anyone’s rules but his own. He allowed his imagination to run wild but also had the drive to play it all out.”

The Scottish based musician has also announced his Wild DeTour. For a week Vance will hit the road in his VW camper van, with fans suggesting places for him to go to via his official website or by using the hashtag #FOYSWILDDETOUR.

Vance will also be on the road in the UK between June 10 and 26 supporting Elton John on his Wonderful Crazy Tour.
