André Rieu has lined up 10 new arena shows around the UK and Ireland in December.
The Dutch violinist will perform with his Johann Strauss Orchestra at Dublin's 3Arena, the SSE Arena Belfast, Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena, Liverpool's Echo Arena, the First Direct Arena in Leeds, Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena, London's SSE Arena Wembley, Birmingham's Genting Arena, Manchester Arena and Glasgow's SSE Hydro between December 8 and 23. Speaking ahead of the tour, Rieu says:
"Every night, everywhere in the world I invite my audience to get up from their seats and dance with us. I can’t tell you how fantastic it is to see people from every continent waltz to our music, whether they’d be young or old."
Rieu releases a new compilation album, ‘Magic of the Waltz’, in April, while tickets for the new tour are on sale at 10am on March 18.
