The Avalanches have teased a new album with a clip featuring Ariel Pink and Father John Misty.
The video, which you can watch below, also stars Danny Brown, Royal Trux’s Jennifer Herrema and Kirin J. Callinan and throughout references previous quotes on the progress of the band's sophomore album.
The Avalanches released their only album, 'Since I Left You', in 2000, and in April set tongues wagging when they updated their social media accounts and revealed they would be appearing at Primavera on June 3, London's Field Day on June 12 and Splendour In The Grass in Australia on July 22. Earlier this month they also announced a headline London show for June 9.
Despite the news of the performances and above video there has still not been any official update on new material. So, in the meantime, check out the video for the title track of their debut LP below.
