Fountains Of Wayne Frontman Chris Collingwood To Release Look Park Debut Album In July

Fountains Of Wayne frontman Chris Collingwood will release the debut album of his new musical venture, Look Park, next month.

Collingwood’s first album outside of Fountains of Wayne is due to arrive on July 22 through Yep Roc. Discussing the new material, Collingwood said:

“I threw out the ones that sounded like FOW songs. It took a while to start thinking outside of four-piece, power chord arrangements. There’s a lot of piano on the demos, and a lot of deliberately empty space. I thought it was important to record with someone who would get me out of my usual habits.”
