Tigercub Announce Debut Album And November UK Tour

Tigercub will support the release of their debut album with an autumn UK tour.
The Brighton trio's as yet unnamed first full length offering is set to arrive on November 11 via Alcopop! Records. To coincide with the release the band have lined up shows in Oxford, Nottingham, Worcester, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, Leicester, Norwich, London, Exeter and Southampton, between November 6 and 18. Tickets go on sale at 10.00am on July 20, except for Nottingham, which is on sale now.
Discussing the new record, the band said:
“We're reaching completion of our debut LP, which is almost entirely material written in the last few months. Our inspiration is broader and the results more focussed than anything we've done in the past. With just a couple of days off for brief festival appearances, it feels like we're starting to unravel now but it's all been worth it.
We've been lucky enough to be working on the record with Alex Newport - he's enabled us to combine some real tender songs, some dreamy, sometimes nightmarish, but with maniacal bone crushing distortion across the board.”
Prior to the above Tigercub will call at Boardmasters festival in August and Southsea Festival in early October, before hitting the road for a co-headline European tour with Demob Happy, with UK stops lined up in Brighton, Birmingham and Ramsgate. Tickets are on sale now.
