Boys Forever, the solo project of former Veronica Falls drummer Patrick Doyle, has shared a new single, Cold Is The Colour.
The song is lifted from his self-titled debut album, which is set to arrive on August 5 via new label Amour Foo. Discussing it, Doyle said:
“Cold is the Colour questions whether or not absence really does make the heart grow fonder. I wanted the song to appear gentle and flippant, like a schoolyard chant with a nasty sting in it's tail.”
Boys Forever will play a headline show at the Finsbury in London on July 29. Tickets are on sale now, priced at £5.00, plus fees. Following this Doyle will stop at Indietracks Festival on July 30 and head out on tour with Goon Sax in September.
