Lush Announce Departure Of Bassist Phil King, Cancel Festival Appearances

Lush have announced the departure of their bassist, Phil King.
The band, who formed in 1988, disbanded in 1998 following the death of drummer Chris Acland and reformed in September last year, took to their Facebook page to break the news, which has resulted in them having to cancel appearances at the Iceland Airwaves and Rolling Stone Weekender festivals.
Earlier this year Lush released a new EP, 'Blind Spot', check out the video for Out Of Control, lifted from it, below.
The band will play a one off show at Manchester Academy next month. Tickets are on sale now, priced at £26.50, plus fees.
