Gabriella Cohen has posted a video for her new single, Downtown.
The track is lifted from the Melbourne-based singer-songwriter's debut album, 'Full Closure and No Details', which is set to arrive on December 2.
Discussing the song and its Sky Richards-directed visual Cohen said:
"Downtown was written in the summer of 2014 in Highgate Hill, Australia. I remember just finishing the recording in my room when a friend walked past and I yelled at him to duck his head in and listen. I guess the track comes from a direct place of figuring out self-worth and personal integrity. The film clip actually happened two years later… a real spin on things it seems. We shot it in the forest, which is my favourite place. Enjoy.”
Cohen will play the first of two London shows tonight at the Servant Jazz Quarters and tomorrow will head to the Windmill in Brixton.
Gabriella Cohen Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Tue November 01 2016 - LONDON Servant Jazz Quarters
Wed November 02 2016 - LONDON Windmill Brixton
