Regina Spektor Releases Video For Bleeding Heart

Tuesday, 22 November 2016 Written by Huw Baines

Regina Spektor has shared a video for Bleeding Heart.

The track has been lifted from her recent LP, 'Remember Us To Life', while its video was directed by the artist’s husband, Jack Dishel. Discussing the video’s childhood scrapbook feel with NPR, who premiered the clip, Spektor said:

“Throughout my childhood I'd sometimes get tired of standing as [my father] took his light meter readings or asked me to play piano or pose. But now when I look back on every recorded moment, I'm just grateful. It took hard work and patience on his part — most of the photos were developed and printed by him in his darkroom in spare time from work."
