Previously Unreleased Prince Song Moonbeam Levels Shared Online

Wednesday, 23 November 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

A previously unreleased Prince track has been shared online.

Moonbeam Levels, which was originally recorded in 1982, was aired for the first time by ABC News, who played the track in full at a listening party for 'Prince 4Ever'. The compilation was released yesterday in the US and will arrive in the UK on Friday.

Prince's 1984 album 'Purple Rain' is also set to be reissued early next year. The remastered edition will arrive via NPG Records/Warner Bros and is set to feature a bonus disc of previously unreleased material. The collection is said to have been agreed with the funk icon prior to his death in April.
