Red Hot Chili Peppers Postpone Dublin Shows

Monday, 19 December 2016 Written by Jon Stickler

Red Hot Chili Peppers have been forced to postpone their Dublin shows tomorrow and Wednesday due to illness.

The band, who were due to wrap up their European tour at the 3Arena on December 20 and 21, have rescheduled the shows to September 20 and 21, 2017. The news was confirmed with a post on the venue's official Facebook page, while the band put out the following statement:

"We are so sorry that we cannot come to Dublin as planned for the next few days. Anthony has been fighting off the flu all week and after the show last night it was clear that he has to stop touring and recover, hence the decision to push back the shows to next year."

Tickets for the December 20 show remain valid for the September 20 date, while tickets for December 21 date are valid for September 21.

Red Hot Chili Peppers Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Wed September 20 2017 - DUBLIN 3Arena
Thu September 21 2017 - DUBLIN 3Arena
