Guided By Voices To Release New Album 'August By Cake' In April

Guided By Voices will release a new album this spring.
The Robert Pollard-led band, which also currently consists of Doug Gillard, Kevin March, Bobby Bare Jr and Mark Shue, will put out 'August by Cake', the follow up to last year's 'Please Be Honest', on April 7 through Pollard's label Rockathon. It will be the band's first double album and Pollard's 100th LP since 1986's 'Forever Since Breakfast'.
