Guided By Voices are an American indie rock outfit based in Dayton, Ohio. Formed 1983, it is fronted by Robert Pollard, the group's only consistent member, who is currently joined by Kevin March, Bobby Bare, Jr., Doug Gillard, and Mark Shue.
Having released over 20 studio albums over the course of the band's career, Pollard has seen dozens of bandmembers come and go over the years, as well as calling time on Guided By Voices twice. The group returned for the second time in 2016, with brand new record 'Please Be Honest'. The fantastically prolific Pollard has composed and recorded over 2300 songs, and released his 100th album in 2018, but hes never been content to rest on his laurels. Coming in February 2019 will be double album 'Zeppelin Over China', followed by two more full-length records: 'Warp And Woof' and 'Rise Of The Ants'. Guided By Voices have announced their first UK gigs in over 15 years, to take place at London's Village Underground on June 5 and 6. They'll also play Primavera Sound in Barcelona on May 30. If a specific Guided By Voices event is 'Sold Out', that means no official primary tickets are currently available from the organiser at face value. However, you may still be able to find tickets through our official fan-to-fan resale and secondary reseller marketplace partners listed on our event pages. Most arena and stadium shows allow children over 5 years old to attend, as long as they are accompanied by an adult but variations to this policy do occur.
