Starting her music career in 1988 as a member of the band Automatic Dlamini, she left to focus on her solo career three years later. She and her band have released nine albums to date, which have earned her countless honours and accolades, including seven Grammy nominations, two Mercury Prize awards, eight BRIT nominations and an MBE for Services To Music. Her most recent LP, 'The Hope Six Demolition Project', arrived in 2016. PJ Harvey will take over venues across the UK for evenings of spoken word poetry from her new book, in autumn 2022.
