Beyoncé will no longer headline Coachella this spring.
The vocalist, who is pregnant with twins, has pulled the performance on medical advice. The news was confirmed in a statement from the festival’s organisers, who promised that she would instead top the bill in 2018. A replacement has not yet been confirmed.
Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding. Stay tuned for more information.
Coachella returns to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California on the weekends of April 14-16 and 21-23, with Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar filling the remaining headline slots.
