Pins Unveil New Single All Hail

Monday, 13 March 2017 Written by Laura Johnson

Pins have unveiled a new single, All Hail.

The song is lifted from the Manchester quintet's new EP, 'Bad Thing', which is set to arrive on March 24 and follow up their sophomore album, 'Wild Nights', which was released last year.

Discussing the track, the band said:

“Sometimes songs take ages to come together and sometimes it writes itself. We were in a dingy practice room in California and we had been working on a song for a while but not really getting anywhere. Then in the last ten minutes of the session we scrapped everything we had done and just took the riff from the middle 8, and immediately we had something we were all excited about. From then on All Hail came together so easily. We recorded it in an abandoned school hall in Liverpool in one day.”

The band will follow up the record's release with a spring European and UK tour, which includes stops in Cardiff, Oxford, Norwich, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Newcastle, Leeds, London, Bedford, Leicester and Manchester between April 10 and 22. Tickets are on sale now.

They will also appear at Liverpool's FestEvol Gardens on April 30, support Maximo Park on their UK tour between May 5 and 19, and appear at Festival Number 6 and Cambridge's Subterranean in September.
