EXCLUSIVE: Stream My Name Is Ian's New Album 'Cincinnati Cola'

Tuesday, 30 May 2017 Written by Jennifer Geddes

My Name is Ian are set to release their latest album, 'Cincinnati Cola', on June 2 via Bubblewrap Records and you can stream the collection exclusively below.

The album was conceived, written and recorded while the Cardiff garage-rock trio were on a trip to Cincinnati, Ohio and draws inspiration from the city’s musical roots, history and sensibilities, as well as the wildlife of the region. It follows on from 'In The Best Case Scenario We’d Die At The Same Time’, which was released in 2015.

’Cincinnati Cola’ marks the first chapter in the band's '19,345 Cities’ project, which is inspired by Sufjan Stevens’ unfinished ’50 States’ plan. Head below to check it out.

My Name Is Ian released the record's lead single, Fight, Drink And Watch People Die On TV, earlier in May. Watch its accompanying video below. If you want to know more about the album, head to the Bubblewrap website.

My Name is Ian are set to play Cardiff's Moon on Friday with support from Rainbow Maniac and Buzzard.

My Name Is Ian Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Fri June 02 2017 - CARDIFF Moon
