Liam Gallagher has confirmed that his debut solo album will arrive this autumn.
'As You Were' will be released on October 6 through Warner Bros and was produced by Dan Grech-Marguerat and Greg Kurstin, who also performed all the instruments on lead single Wall of Glass, Paper Crown, Come Back To Me and It Doesn’t Have To Be That Way.
Speaking about the record, the former Oasis frontman said:
“I didn’t want to be reinventing anything or going off on a space jazz odyssey. It’s the Lennon ‘Cold Turkey’ vibe, The Stones, the classics. But done my way, now.”
Gallagher has lined up a number of festival appearances for the summer, including Glastonbury this weekend and Reading and Leeds in August.
