Paradise Lost Post New Song The Longest Winter

Friday, 07 July 2017 Written by Laura Johnson

Paradise Lost have posted a new song, The Longest Winter.

The track will feature on their 15th studio album, 'Medusa', which is set for release on September 1 through Nuclear Blast. Speaking about it, vocalist Nick Holmes said:

"I read a story about how wildlife was once beginning to flourish in the 30 mile exclusion zone after the Chernobyl disaster in 1986 - particularly the wolf population. It was nice to think that that no matter how much mankind tried to fuck the planet up directly or indirectly, life carries on in some shape or form. But humans are humans and I recently heard that there is already now 'timed' hunting trips organised into the exclusion zone..."

The Yorkshire doom quartet will play London's Electric Ballroom on November 3 and Leeds' Damnation Festival the following day as part of a wider European tour.

Paradise Lost Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Fri November 03 2017 - LONDON Electric Ballroom
