MALKA Confirms November Tour, Shares Falling Video

Monday, 21 August 2017 Written by Jon Stickler

MALKA, aka Tamara Schlesinger, has announced a November headline tour.

The Scottish experimental pop artist will make stops in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Brighton, Birmingham, and Manchester, alongside two dates in London at the Lexington and We Are Robots Festival. Her new album, 'Ratatatat', arrives on October 20 through Tantrum Records.

MALKA has also released the video for her new single, Falling, the third from the upcoming LP, following Breakout and Fell For You. Speaking about the track, she said:

"What I love most about music is that it can mean one thing to the writer and another to the listener. This song is about not standing in line and ignoring what is going on in the world. But it can equally be about a breakup of a relationship."

Video director Lee Bamsey added:

"The idea reflects the importance of confronting issues, and talking them through. It emphasises that the art of conversation can easily be lost to a phone or device, which can cause resentment and angst. Talk about things and act on them, instead of wasting your time looking at nonsense on your phone."
