MALKA is the alt-pop project of British singer-songwriter Tamara Schlesinger. She is best known as the former frontwoman of 6 Day Riot.
Starting her music career in in 2004, as a member of 6 Day Riot, the band split after three albums. She released her debut solo album, ‘The Procession’, in 2012, and the first MALKA album, ‘Marching to Another Beat’, was released in 2015. She is set to release her latest album, ‘Ratatatat’, on October 20, 2017 via Tantrum Records. MALKA has announced UK shows for November in support of ‘Ratatatat’.
