Sampha has won this year's Mercury Prize for his debut album 'Process'.

Released back in February, the producer and singer-songwriter fought off competition from Alt-J, Blossoms, Dinosaur, Ed Sheeran, Glass Animals, j Hus, Kate Tempest, Loyle Carner, Stormzy, The Big Moon and The xx to succeed last year’s winner, Skepta, who took home the gong for his fourth album, 'Konnichiwa'.

Sampha accepted the award from Idris Elba at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith.
