The Mercury Prize Awards show is an annual event to celebrate the winner of the highly coveted music prize.
Founded in 1992 by the British Phonographic Industry and British Association of Record Dealers, the prize has previously been won by the likes of Primal Scream, Suede, Portishead, Pulp, Badly Drawn Boy, PJ Harvey, Ms. Dynamite, Dizzee Rascal, Franz Ferdinand, Little Simz, Arctic Monkeys, Arlo Parks and more. Mercury Prize will take over London's Eventim Apollo on September 7, 2023. The nominees for this year's prize are Arctic Monkeys, Ezra Collective, Fred again.., J Hus, Jessie Ware, Jockstrap, Lankum, Loyle Carner, Olivia Dean, RAYE, Shygirl and Young Fathers.
