The Utilita Arena (formerly Metro Radio Arena) is Newcastle's biggest and most popular entertainment and sports venue, and sits a massive 11,000 fans. Also boasting an ice rink, the arena was originally the home of both the Newcastle Vipers ice hockey team and the Newcastle Eagles basketball team. though they've since moved on to pastures new - something which simply paved the way for more music and entertainment!
