Boy Azooga Announce Heavenly Recordings Signing, Share Face Behind Her Cigarette Video

Boy Azooga have announced that they've signed with Heavenly Recordings.
Alongside the news the Cardiff-based band, the brainchild of Davey Newington, have shared a video for their debut release for the label, Face Behind Her Cigarette.
Discussing the track, Newingston said:
"This song is basically just a celebration (rip off) of the late great William Onyeabor. I wanted the percussion to be purposefully a bit too loud, maybe by the usual standard. Loads of Onyeabor's percussion is blaring in the mix, but it makes it sound so live and feely. I wanted to create that feeling of being in the room where the music is being played."
Boy Azooga will play a headline show at Cardiff's Transport Club on November 30 and will support the Orielles in Manchester on December 8 and ORB in London on December 15.
