Hookworms have shared a video for Static Resistance.
The track is the latest to be lifted from the Leeds band's upcoming album, 'Microshift', which is due for release on February 2, while the visual was directed by Ciaran Lyons. Speaking about the song, they said:
"Static Resistance is the oldest track on the album, we wrote and recorded the first version of it early 2015, not very long after 'The Hum' had been released. It's one of only two pre-flood songs on the record. It’s a song about the wax and wane of depression and an eternal want to escape the life you’ve built."
The band will accompany the release of the album with a return to the live circuit across Europe and the UK, including Rough Trade in store performances in London and Bristol. Tickets are on sale now.
